Beginning June 4, 2015 a 16-week running and walking program is happening in the Rochester/Rochester Hills area!
This program designed for anyone, beginners through experienced athletes. Groups meet once a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. and train to complete the half marathon on September 27, 2015 at the HealthPlus Brooksie Way races.
All training groups use a run/walk/run or walk/shuffle/walk interval training method with the goal of getting you across the finish line. Interval training is used for the entire process; we won’t push you to run without walking, even during the race. There are many ways to take part in this program with different days and times available.
Included in the registration cost is entry into the HealthPlus Brooksie Way Half Marathon, four other local 5K or 10K races, technical training shirt, foam roller, workouts led by trained Group Leaders and more.
