$2,000 Grant to Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic Awarded

The Women’s Fund, whose mission is focused grant making to aid women within the community, announced at the September 26, 2011 Esteemed Women of Michigan Luncheon, a $2,000 grant to the Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic. Several Women’s Fund donors attended the luncheon to support Women’s Fund Advisory Council members Johanna Allen and Lynn McCabe who were among the 30 women honored for working to improve their communities. 

“The Luncheon [a fundraiser for The Burnstein Clinic] was the perfect opportunity for The Women’s Fund to notify the Clinic of the $2,000 grant,” said Jan Drobnich, The Women’s Fund Grant Committee co-Chair.

Representing The Women’s Fund at the Luncheon were current and past Advisory Council members Johanna Allen, Linda Bermingham, Pat Botkin (2010 Honoree) Glenda Byers Raye, Ruth Stephens-Collins (2010 Honoree), Jan Drobnich, Peg Hamilton (2010 Honoree), Carol Kirken, Carol Lowman, Lynn McCabe and Katy Plummer.
