The Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) collaborated with the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce (RRC) for their 50+ Senior Expo on October 4 and offered attendees a wealth of information, resources, education and fun from over 70 exhibitors. The event was designed for adults 50 years of age and older, caregivers, friends and family.

The event featured services and resources focused on senior living, health and fitness, finances, nutrition, health screening, caregiving, adult education, travel and much more. Tables included Rochester based entities including the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester and The Women’s Fund.

Visitors experienced demonstrations featuring Pickleball, dance for Parkinsons, and arts & crafts. Food trucks were on site with lunch and included food from Marconi’s Pizza and The Mean Weenie. A raffle was held; and American House Senior Living Communities presented the grand prize worth $250.00. Funds raised from this Expo supported Meals on Wheels for area homebound seniors.
