Councilman Adam Kochenderfer announced his reelection campaign today for Rochester Hills City Council, District 2.
Kochenderfer hopes to continue the momentum of his first four years in office. During that time, he focused on:
1) Quality of Life. Rochester Hills was named one of the Top 10 Best Places to Live in America by Money Magazine.
2) Public Safety. Rochester Hills’ fire department and EMS added 24/7 coverage to District 2’s station, aiming to lower response times.
3) Roads. The city invested more dollars into roads than any council in city history while maintaining one of the lowest millage rates in Oakland County.
The campaign is off to a strong start. Over 75 volunteers have already signed up, and the campaign begins with $20,000 cash on hand.
Moreover, a strong Finance Committee has been assembled to support the campaign’s fundraising efforts. The Committee includes Russ and Kathy Shelton, Vern Pixley, Frank Rewold, Gordie Kosch, George and Betty Seifert, Ziad Kassab, and Tim Crawford.
Kochenderfer stated he was looking forward to sharing his track record and plans for the next four years. “We’ve been blessed with an incredible quality of life in Rochester Hills, and now isn’t the time to rest. I want to continue working with residents to ensure Rochester Hills remains a model across our state and country.”
