All aboard The Polar Express!

Rochester Hills Public Library’s third annual Polar Express Celebration is scheduled for Friday, December 6 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Online registration is required, and opens Friday, November 22 at 9:00 a.m.

This promises to be an evening full of holiday fun and magic, and will be best appreciated by families with children ages 3+. Your children will have the opportunity to take a photo with Santa, send a holiday wishes letter to the North Pole, ride the Polar Express Trolley through the Big Bright Light Show, become a “Certified Elf,” make a little treat for the reindeer and more!

• This program is open to residents of Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township with valid RHPL library cards.

• All children and adults REGARDLESS OF AGE must be registered to attend and receive trolley tickets. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

• In order to register, all members of your family (including infants and toddlers) must have library cards that are in good standing and must know the PINs/Passwords for them.

• You can check your account standing and retrieve your password by email at www.rhpl.org/myaccount or call 248-656-2900 to speak with a circulation staff person.

• Customers visiting us on Friday, November 22 for assistance with online registration must be in possession of valid library cards and PIN’s/Passwords for all attendees.

• Registration by phone is not available. While we’re happy to walk you through the steps to register online over the phone, and will have extra staff available to help, we may not be available to take your call right away on registration morning.

• If you call, you will need to have all card numbers handy.

• We will not give out library card numbers over the phone, and will only do so in person with proper ID.

• Card numbers for children will only be given out in person to parents with proper ID.

You are strongly encouraged to check the status of your card(s)or make sure you have one for each family member before Friday,November 22. Once registration is complete, participants will receive an email with full details about the check-in process and what to expect once you arrive. We look forward to a fun evening with your family!
