Anonimo, the Discovery of an Unknown Composer

Scott Loudon will share his vision for the new Anonimo Documentary at 20 Front Street on Sunday, December 17. This documentary will be a follow-up to the award winning 1986 Deniro film The Mission, the inspiring story of Jesuit-trained natives from Bolivia composing Baroque music and building violins. Nearly 11,000 compositions were found in the catacombs of Catholic churches in the 1970s simply signed “Anonimo” (anonymous).
