Art on Auburn Finalists Selected, Art Contest Voting Now Open

Paint Creek Center for the Arts (PCCA) recently unveiled the top 50 art submissions for the Art on Auburn Art Contest. These works of art were selected out of over 460 student entries by a jury of artists and art advocates.

The community will now be able to vote to help choose the 25 new pieces that will be applied directly to the surface of Auburn Road. The 50 finalists, representing every corner of the community and age range, created pieces inspired by the idea of what community means to them.

“We’re so excited for the community to see these impressive pieces that show off the skills of some of our youngest residents,” states Mayor Bryan K. Barnett. “I would encourage everyone to visit the website and check out all the creativity that may soon have a spot on display for years to come.”

How to Vote

You may cast your vote online. Votes are limited to one vote per person. Voting will be open from March 22 at noon until midnight on March 31. Winners will be announced and art will be on display at a celebration in May 2021.
