Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan Announces Officers for 2018-2019
Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan proudly announces its slate of officers for the next year. Collectively, these 13 board members have provided over 100 years of service to children and families residing in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties through the Assistance League’s philanthropic programs which clothe, feed, educate, and comfort those in need.
Nancy Troyer, a longtime resident of Rochester Hills and President of Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan, said “Our organization of over 270 volunteer members proudly serves our community. We work tirelessly to seek out ways to enrich and ease the lives of others through our philanthropic programs which include: Operation School Bell, Wee Help, One-2-One Tutoring, Assault Survivor Kits, and Backpack Meals.”
Major funding sources are the Assistance League ReSale Connection store, located at 204 S. Main Street, Rochester, and the Mistletoe Marketplace annual fundraiser, to be held on November 14, 2018 at The Palazzo Grande, Shelby Township.
Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan was established in 1993 and is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), hands-on, all-volunteer organization that is one of 121 national chapters. In the past year, we locally provided over 49,000 volunteer hours, serving over 20,000 infants, children, and adults.
