Selfridge Field authors Deborah Larsen and Lt. Col. Louis J. Nigro will present a multi-media review of the long history of the military airfield now known as Selfridge Air National Guard Base on Tuesday, November 9 at 7 p.m. Once a training ground for aviation greats such as Jimmy Doolittle, Charles Lindbergh and Curtis LeMay, Selfridge Field has been the site of some of military aviation’s greatest advancements. After the presentation, books will be available for purchase.
