Join the adventure this summer with the Rochester Explorers Club! Kids of all ages are invited to get outdoors and explore everything that our community has to offer. The Downtown Rochester Development Authority (DDA) has assembled an amazing array of adventures for young explorers, including a firefly hunt, making a fairy house, and everything in between.

Kids can pick up their free Explorers Club Kit during Sidewalk Sales, July 9 – 11 at the DDA Information Booth, located at the corner of Fourth & Main. The Kit will include the Official Adventure Guide, with over 30 activities to choose from. Complete each activity and bring proof to the sponsoring Explorer Station to receive a special activity badge, unique to that activity. Explorers will have from July 9 – August 8 to complete their activities.

Sponsoring businesses include 2nd Street School of Dance, A Place To Grow Family Chiropractic, @ Home Furniture, Catching Fireflies, City of Rochester, Dinosaur Hill, Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market, Downtown Rochester Movies in the Moonlight, Fox Automotive, The Funky Frog Children’s Resale Boutique, Haig’s of Rochester Fine Jewelry, Holy Cannolis, Lucido Fine Jewelry of Rochester, Main Street Deli, Moon River Soap Company, O’Connor’s Public House, Paint Creek Center for The Arts, The Painted Pot, Penny Black Grill & Tap, RARA, RE/MAX Defined, Rochester Bike Shop, Rochester Conservatory of Music, Rochester Fire Department, Rochester Hills Public Library, Rochester Mills Beer Co., Rochester Police Department, Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce, Rush Antiques, Sanders and Subway.
