Lake Orion VS Rochester Hills
Two brothers competing for the prestigious Paint Creek Cup. Lake Orion Township Supervisor, Chris Barnett, and M Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett, challenge each other to a bike race on Saturday, September 22 at 12:30 p.m. on the Paint Creek Trail racing the distance between Lake Orion and Rochester.

Spectators may gather in the backyard at 20 Front Street, Lake Orion, MI at 12 noon to see Bryan start the race at 12:30 p.m. and wait for Chris finish the race. Free cider and donuts compliments of Lake Orion DDA provided from 12 noon till 2:00 p.m. in the Social Cafe at 20 Front Street, Lake Orion.
To see Chris start the race at 12:30 p.m. in Rochester, supports may gather at Lipuma’s at 12 noon. Bryan will also finish the race at Lipuma’s.
Racers start at exactly 12:30 and ride to the opposite location. First one to arrive via non motorized bike wins. The winner of the race will present a check for $200 to the charity of their choice compliments of 20 Front Street, Lake Orion.
