Be Green, Buy Antiques: Antiques & Appraisals with Integrity Offered in Downtown Rochester

Ever wonder what a beloved antique piece of furniture is worth? Or watch “Antique Roadshow” and hope that there is a hidden gem tucked away somewhere just waiting to be found. Jere Rush has the answer, and the expertise to discover true value in antique items.

Jere, with his wife Leona, is owner of Rush Antiques and Rush Appraisals located in Downtown Rochester, MI. The Rushes have been lovers and collectors of all things antique for the past 35 years. As a member of the International Society of Appraisers and graduate of the Asheford Institute of Antiques Jere’s love of antiques led him to expand his expertise taking him and Leona around the globe collecting and appraising. The couple has now opened Rush Antiques to share their unique finds in their hometown.

Jere and Leona have spent years developing and refining a carefully selected stock of fine high-quality American, English, French, and Chinese antiques that is always growing. The shop specializes in 18th, 19th, and early 20th century antiques and 21st century art.

Always in stock are furniture, porcelain, fine china and clocks. The inventory has been developed with a diverse and unique selection of objects appealing to a wide range of collectors, interior designers, and trade buyers worldwide.

“Being an appraiser means that I am able to see the true value in a piece,” said Jere. “That training allows me to give true and honest appraisals of my clients’ pieces, and it also means that we have true value in all of the antiques in our store.”

The Rush’s goal is to offer the highest level of integrity whether they are adding to the selection of their store, appraising fine collectibles or assisting with an insurance evaluation.

Rush Antiques is located at 411 South Main Street in Rochester, MI. For more information, call 248-686-0290 or visit RushAntiques.com or RushAppraisals.net.
