Benefit Concert Featuring Matthew Ball, the Boogie Woogie Kid

Matthew Ball, the Boogie Woogie Kid, will perform classic Ragtime, Boogie-woogie and Blues favorites from the 20-40’s era on June 7 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) 650 Letica Drive, Rochester. The tickets for this benefit concert are $10 per person and can be purchased by calling 248-659-1029. The event is open to the public.

OPC Benefit Concert featuring Matthew Ball, the Boogie Woogie Kid

Matthew Ball, an attorney turned musician, performs as the Boogie Woogie Kid and plays songs from the Ragtime, Blues, and is called a “Boogie Woogie Master” by local press. His wide repertoire has earned him many accolades including interviews on Fox News Detroit and Michigan this Morning. He truly has emerged as a leading musician of 20th century classics.

Mr. Ball’s concert at the OPC will benefit the Acts of Kindness program which assists low income seniors with minor home repairs so they can “Age in Place.” This benefit concert is sure to delight audiences and should not be missed.
