The Rochester Hills Public Library presents “Boys Under the Hood” on Dec. 17

Join fellow auto history enthusiasts at the Rochester Hills Public Library on Tuesday, December 17 at 7:00 p.m. for a presentation by WFNT-AM 1470 radio host Gary Fisher. A lifetime resident of Flint, MI, Fisher will discuss how the General Motors (GM)-Flint connection began in a single neighborhood in his hometown and how he is ready to witness the city’s revitalization.

Fisher and his family have been a part of Flint’s history for over 100 years. His great grandparents, grandparents, dad, cousins, uncles, and aunts worked for GM and his interest in Flint has been with him since childhood. The “Boys Under the Hood” presentation highlights the lives and stories of local automotive pioneers Durant, Dort, Buick, Chrysler, and others. Join us for an exhilarating ride through history.
