For the second year in a row, Limelight Sports Pub and Grill in downtown Rochester will host a benefit for the Holiday Helpers of Rochester Hills. On Thursday, December 8, bring a new, unwrapped toy and get a free buffet. Doors open at 4 p.m.; the buffet begins at 6 p.m.
Holiday Helpers is a local nonprofit organization that assists needy residents of Rochester Hills and the Rochester school district. Limelight is located at 543 North Main Street, Suite 301, on Paint Creek behind the Rochester Medical Center.
Last Christmas, Holiday Helpers delivered 3,200 pounds of food and 600 gifts. The group’s annual giving tree is now up at Rochester Hills City Hall. It’s decorated with tags bearing information on gifts for specific needy residents. All wrapped gifts must be returned no later than Friday, December 9.
