Touching comedy “Calendar Girls” springs into Meadow Brook Theatre
Annie and her friend, Chris, are dedicated to the support of their local hospital. To raise funds they know they need something special to put them on the map. The ladies persuade four fellow Women’s Institute members to pose nude for a special calendar. Partnering with the hospital porter and amateur photographer, Lawrence, they publish an artistic creation. The calendar is a great success, bringing fame—and all the trials that come with it—to the ladies and small town.
