The Rochester Hills Public Library will present three seminars this fall that will provide you with the techniques to be successful in today’s career market. On Tuesday, September 14th at 7 p.m., Karen Stonehouse, a Career Coach, will cover the importance of how to spend your “downtime” between jobs. You’ll take away a better understanding of how your resume will have an impact on your job search based on what you’re doing while job searching.
Learn how to transition into a new career path on Tuesday, September 28th at 7 p.m. Stonehouse will give you insightful tips on the process and how to best position yourself to be successful.
Do you know how to market yourself by connecting with your strengths? Do you know how to build relationships and open doors to employment? On Monday, October 11 at 7 p.m., Kerry Rom, a Career Counselor, takes a fun and dynamic interactive approach to learn how to market yourself utilizing “out of the box” thinking. This presentation is for anyone who is currently employed or seeking employment and wants to learn how to market themselves more effectively in today’s competitive market.
