Nashville Music Meets Kentucky Bourbon Exclusive Vertical Concert at Royal Park Hotel

The Royal Park Hotel, located in Downtown Rochester, announces Michigan’s first vertical “socially distant” concert, Nashville Music Meets Kentucky Bourbon, on August 13 at 7:00 p.m. It features a Nashville in the Round with musicians Mathew Austin Bell, Jobe Fortner, Jesse Wayne Taylor, and Matt Daniel.

This idea is a first-ever for Royal Park and comes just in time to launch their exclusive, limited-edition Maker’s Mark Private Select Barrel Rochester Reserve. “We are thrilled to bring this vertical concert to the community. It is truly like nothing this area has ever seen with guests enjoying a creek-side concert, safely from their private balconies or reserved tables on the PARK 600 terrace,” said Sue Keels, Royal Park Hotel general manager. “Maker’s Mark has agreed to be our presenting sponsor, with surprises for guests throughout the evening. Our partnership with Maker’s Mark, is deep-rooted, as their brand and unique barrel program they offer has a strong following in Park 600.”

Charity Sponsorship to Benefit Karmanos Cancer Institute

“Also,” said Keels, “we are excited to announce that we have secured a charity sponsor who has chosen Karmanos Cancer Institute to be the recipient of their donation.” Karmanos Cancer Institute is a leader in transformative cancer care, research and education through courage, commitment and compassion.

As the hotel faced the COVID-19 pandemic, it has brought its focus back to its local roots with special engagements designed to help Michigan stay local, stay safe, and celebrate the summer. Guests will be asked to complete a safety questionnaire before being seated at their table and must wear their masks anytime they are not seated, which follows the governor’s executive orders. Hand sanitizer stations will be accessible throughout, and a team of security will be onsite monitoring proper social distancing and ensuring masks are worn properly.

The concert portion of the evening is presented in partnership with Lake Orion’s 20 Front Street. Nashville music & bourbon lovers will enjoy an exclusive concert experience from the hotel’s west facing balconies. Room packages are the only way to experience the concert – individual tickets are not available – here are the two choices:

Night in Nashville Package is $429 + tax

“The vertical concert concept has been gaining momentum in other countries as concert promoters and hotels join together to offer a physical distancing alternative for a live music experience in an atmosphere where you are physically separated with a smaller group of friends,” said Allan Goetz, owner, 20 Front Street. “The Royal Park Hotel’s suites with balconies and the PARK 600 terrace provide a perfect view of an outdoor stage where four local country artists will be sharing music in a ‘Nashville Songwriters Round.’”
