Clinton River Trail 15th Anniversary

Dan Kiefer, the visionary for the 16-mile Clinton River Trail (CRT), celebrated the CRT’s 15th anniversary with Friends of the Clinton River Trail board member Judy Gordon and chair Melinda Hill at a party May 22 at the River Crest in Rochester Hills. A standing-room only audience heard keynote speaker Dennis Pace share ways the trail can bolster tourism and business development. Student radio station WAHS 89.5FM provided the music mix for the evening.

Parks and Recreation administrators Mandy Mullins from Auburn Hills and Ken Elwert from Rochester Hills hold the celebratory five city “ribbon” for founder Dan Kiefer to mark the 15th anniversary of the 16-mile Clinton River Trail and the start of positioning and promoting the CRT as a destination trail for tourism and business development.
