The team is undefeated and they have one last game to play to win the National Championship on December 3 in West Virginia. Unfortunately the university does not fund clubs the way they do NCAA athletics and the guys are expected to raise the money needed or have it come out of pocket and donations.
Club Football at Oakland University
They need to raise $2300 to cover travel expenses and lodging for the team and coaches for this final game. Classic Lanes has stepped up and offered them an opportunity to raise a portion of the money depending on how many people they can get to attend. The event is a bowling event on Sunday, November 27 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. It’s 2 hours of bowling and shoes for $10 per person with a large percentage going back to the team.
