Coco-Ray Pop-Up Shop To Celebrate #GivingTuesday with Donations to the New Day Foundation

As a special GivingTuesday event, Coco-Ray Boutique will host a holiday shopping fundraiser to benefit New Day Foundation for Families on Tuesday, December 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the pop-up shop located in the Village of Rochester Hills at 346 N. Adams, across from Woodhouse Day Spa. GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

Enjoy music and snacks while browsing Coco-Ray’s selection of designer clothing, jewelry and accessories for women. The boutique will donate 10 percent of the evening’s proceeds to New Day Foundation for Families, a Rochester Hills-based non-profit dedicated to reducing the financial burden and emotional stress caused by cancer.

“We are pleased to partner with New Day Foundation for Families to bring awareness and funding to families in our community who are struggling with cancer,” said Corrin Roach Barnett, owner of Coco-Ray Boutique. “By hosting the fundraiser on GivingTuesday, we are joining a global movement of giving that brings hope to our friends and neighbors.”

“Families facing cancer have been hit hard during the pandemic,” said Gina Kell Spehn, co-founder and president of New Day Foundation for Families. “All of us at New Day are addressing both the emotional and financial impact of COVID-19 on our community this year. From loss of income and delayed treatment to food instability and increased risk of contracting the disease, our families are facing more obstacles than ever before. We are so grateful to Coco-Ray for hosting this event on Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving.”

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
