Cold Weather Delays Tienken-Livernois Opening Again

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) released its weekly road update and residents living in the vicinity of the Tienken and Livernois intersection will have to wait a little longer to drive through the new roundabout.

Most of the work is done. However, it has been too cold to place the final layer of asphalt, so that has been postponed until spring. As soon as the subcontractor stripes the road and installs signs, the road will be opened for the winter. If weather permits, that should be done by the end of next week (December 5).

As soon as the road is open, or if there are any further delays, Rochester Media will let you know.
