Collectors wanted for Rochester Community House show

Collectors looking to downsize, people who want to consign just a few items and dealers in collectibles are being sought to participate in a spring show and sale at Rochester Community House, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22.

“We are looking for those collectors who are looking to downsize their collections, much like Pat Kane did with the donation of  her wonderful tea cups to Rochester Community House,” said Executive Director Mary Lee Kowalczyk. “However, we are open to dealers too.”
In July Kane, a Rochester resident, donated her 40-year collection of more than 300 china tea cups and saucers to Community House. The collection will be used for the annual Holly & Ivy event.

“Thus far we have collectibles promised from dolls, bears and pharmacy collectibles to Frank Sinatra items, stamps, sports memorabilia, trading cards, tea cups and miniature cars,” Kowalczyk said. “We will have a consignment table available for those individuals who may only have one or two things to display or sell.”
Guns and suggestive materials are not allowed, and Community House reserves the right to jury materials.

Deadline for table registration is April 2. Table Rental is $35 for one day, $50 for two days and will include an eight-foot table, set and covered, two chairs and table signage. Vendors may also choose to bring their own tables to fit the space. Doors will open to vendors at 7:30 a.m.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3 for adults, kids free (no strollers). Parking is free.
