Coming Soon: Movies in the Moonlight

Join downtown Rochester on Saturday, July 13 as we kick off the 12th season of Movies in the Moonlight. This season there will be four fun filled nights of movies!

Movies in the Moonlight is located in the parking lot at the corner of E. Third & Water, one block east of Main. Featured movies begin at dusk (approximately 9:15 pm) and pre-shows start at 8:30 pm. Admission is free, so arrive early for the best seating. Movies in the Moonlight is BYOC (Bring Your Own Chairs)! Popcorn, candy, hot dogs and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the Rochester Lions Club concession wagon, but you are welcome to bring your own goodies, too (no alcohol or glass containers allowed).

The 2013 Movies Schedule is:

  • July 13: 1971 Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (Rated G) Presented by Sanders, Rochester
  • July 20: Brave (Rated PG) Presented by Goldfish Swim School
  • July 27: Hotel Transylvania (Rated PG) Presented by Dentists on Main
  • August 3: Avengers (Rated PG-13) Presented by Goldfish Swim School

Movies rated PG-13 are edited versions whenever possible, however parental guidance is still recommended. Pre-shows for this season include a Candy Walk on July 13, Scottish Dancers on July 20, Mummy Wrap contest on July 27, and Dress Like Your Favorite Superhero Contest on August 3.

Downtown Rochester’s Movies in the Moonlight is presented by Dentists on Main, Goldfish Swim School and Sanders.
