The Rochester Hills Public Library will host community singer Matt Watroba for a holiday sing-along concert on Sunday, December 22, at 3:00 p.m. Watroba has a knack for picking the perfect songs and stories for his audience. Whether in concert, at a festival, in a library, a school, or park, music-lovers can count on a performance that will get them singing, laughing, and feeling a bit better about the world. Community singing is not performing. It exists so that all willing singers, at all levels of skill, can experience the power of song and musical participation.

Watroba has gained a following from his radio work both locally in Detroit and nationally through folkalley.com, and as the founding host of “The Sing Out! Radio Magazine.”

“Every community sing I’ve been involved with takes on the personality of the group that gathers,” Watroba said. “For this reason, there are no hard and fast rules that work for everyone.”

No matter your singing style or talent, join the Rochester Hills Public Library to spread cheer and sing loud for all to hear at a community singing event like no other. This program is open for all ages and requires registration.
