CREATE Collective Brings the Arts Together to Make Friends

On Thursday, August 11, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. the CREATE Collective, a new non-profit organization will host their first ever friendraiser at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm.

CREATE Collective has a goal to bring together the local arts and culture communities. Their mission is to ignite greater connections between art and culture to engage communities through joint development and support of personally meaningful experiences for all. They will do that through collaboration with an important network of people – artists and arts professionals, cultural organizations, businesses, art and cultural enthusiasts, and civic leaders.

“We are so excited to bring the arts and culture communities together,” says Board Member Teckla Rhoads. “This new non-profit organization will help bring a realization of art and culture being recognized, valued and respected as part of everyday life in our community.”

Guests will enjoy an evening of local music, drinks, food and friends. The event will include complimentary hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will also be available for guests to purchase beverages. Performances for the night will be presented by local entertainment.

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is located at 1005 Van Hoosen Road. Rochester Hills, MI 48306. Tickets are free but reservations are required.
