People Who Care was first organized in 1999 to recognize physicians and volunteers who have made significant contributions to Crittenton Hospital Medical Center and the greater community while displaying the qualities of service, leadership, compassion and care. This year’s event is a collaborative effort between the Crittenton Foundation and the Medical Staff.
This elegant, black tie event will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Royal Park Hotel at 6:00 p.m. and will include a pre-event reception with strolling hors d’oeuvres, dinner, open bar, awards ceremony, dancing and live entertainment by Back in the Day.
This year’s honorees:
Rene Loredo, MD – Howard L. McGregor, Jr. Healthcare Excellence Award
Mae Morrissey – Mary S. Eberline Volunteer Leadership Award
Ray & Mary Nicholson – Charles N. Crittenton Philanthropic Achievement Award
Jaime Aragones, MD – A. Riley Allen Special Recognition Award
Proceeds from the event will benefit Crittenton’s Cornerstone Campaign. This fund-raising effort will help build a new five-story patient tower, which will break ground later this year.
