ROCHESTER, MI – Are you concerned about your heart health? This screening includes several potentially life-changing assessments. The 1-STOP screening includes the following: blood pressure, body fat analysis, weight, health risk appraisal, peripheral vascular disease screening and lab work. The lab work includes a lipid panel (cholesterol and triglycerides), fasting blood sugar and C-reactive protein, which may be associated with an increased risk of heart disease when elevated. Once you have completed your screening, you will discuss the results with a family medicine physician. You must be at least 50 years of age to attend.
