City Council Member At Large Dale Hetrick recently announced his campaign for reelection. As a member of City Council for the past four years, Hetrick has continued to express his support for public safety and improving quality of life. He has been instrumental in securing a increase in deputies, firefighters, and paramedics. While also advocating for improved streets, and additional funding for city parks. He is committed to supporting these vital enhancements in safety and quality of life while maintaining the city’s strong fiscal position.
Hetrick has been grateful for the continued support of friends, family, his council colleagues, and residents. He is committed to making sure the decisions council make are fiscally sound, safe, and will help create a strong future for Rochester Hills.
“Dale is passionate about making living in our community the best possible experience for our residents,” said Mayor Bryan K. Barnett.” He cares about our residents and has supported the innovative solutions that have helped create a better city.”
In addition, Hetrick’s accomplishments have directly contributed to Rochester Hills success and national recognition including Safest City in Michigan, Best City to Start a Business, and the lowest commercial vacancy rates in the city’s history.
“These accomplishments are a start. We cannot take our success for granted. It is vital we continue to move forward, improving services and outcomes for residents. I am 100% invested in getting more done,” said Hetrick. “I look forward to meeting many more residents as I launch the door to door campaign to respectfully ask voters to return me to the city council.”

All of the candidates for city council had an email address, website OR telephone number EXCEPT for Dale Hetrick. I have questions I want to ask the candidates. I guess he is too busy for questions. Why would anyone want to vote for him?
I agree with Audrey Pratt’s comment. I am not going to vote for someone based on their statements from 4 years ago. People change. Accomplishments (or lack of) definitely speak for a person but you must still be fully active and engaging with the people you work for.
