There will be some swingin’ and swayin’ in Downtown Rochester on July 16 at Dancin’ in the Street, hosted by the Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA).
Dancin’ in the Street begins at 6:00 p.m. and is one day only on Friday, July 16. All ages are invited to enjoy live music featuring the band The Square Pegz, a Female-fronted 80’s tribute band, as well as a TasteFest from local Rochester eateries and more.
“We love being a part of the Downtown Rochester Community. Dancin’ in the Street is a fantastic opportunity to participate in great music and great company. It’s always fun meeting up with friends for Downtown events, as well as unexpectedly running into people in the community” said Kevin Stewart, Owner of Stewart Team Real Estate Partners in Rochester. “We are committed to this community, and when we are given the opportunity to pour into it, we take it. By sponsoring events like this, we are able to give back to the community which has given so much to us. I think events hosted by the DDA for the community are one of the major reasons people choose to make Rochester their home – it’s a community which values its citizens, and we are so grateful to be a part of it.”
To keep everyone energized throughout Dancin’ in the Street, Downtown Rochester restaurants will be featured in a TasteFest. Participants are Catering by Katherine, D’Marco’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar, Hungry Howie’s’, O’Connor’s Public House, Penny Black, Motor City Sweet Treats, and The Little Donut Factory.
