Privy historian Tony Panepucci will share treasures found during outhouse excavations on Thursday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Rochester Hills Public Library. Panepucci’s outhouse digging is his passion and he brings dozens of bottles of various colors of glass, ceramic jugs, and pieces of pottery, plain and fancy to share with the audience.
He discusses how old the items are and how rare some of the bottles have become over time. Wallets, jewelry, guns and lots of old bottles are among the treasures Panepucci has discovered underground. After the presentation, Panepucci will answer questions and evaluate any older bottles brought to the program.
Registration is required and open to those with a Rochester Hills Public library card. To register go to the Events Calendar at www.rhpl.org or call 248-656-2900.
