Every year the Golden Corral feeds thousands of veterans as a show of their appreciation for what our service men and woman have sacrificed on behalf of this beloved country. This year is no different.
The Clinton Twp. Golden Corral once again will be opening their doors on Monday, November 14, 2016, with free meals for veterans from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 129 is pleased to partner with them as the host DAV Chapter and Unit to honor our veterans. Disabled American Veterans Chapter 129 Commander Mark Williams will also present a plaque to the restaurant owner, Mr. Lee, as a token of gratitude for the Golden Corral’s commitment to veterans.
We have confirmed an American Legion Post #4 Honor Guard for the playing of taps and 21-gun salute at approx. 5:00 p.m. Students from the Chippewa Valley High School key club will be on hand to assist veterans with trays at dinner.
The Clinton Township Golden Corral is located at 15220 Hall Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038 (southeast corner of Hayes and Hall Roads, next to GolfSmith. The line will be long, so please dress accordingly. Please let one of the DAV 129 volunteers know if you need special accommodations.
