Rochester, Mich. – Nov. 15, 2011 – The Kris Kringle Market returns to downtown Rochester this holiday season, Dec. 2, 4:00-9:00 pm and Dec. 3, noon-9:00 pm. Kringle again will be located on W. Fourth Street between Main and Walnut and will coincide with The Big, Bright Light Show.
The Kris Kringle Market, presented by Renewal by Andersen, is inspired by the 700 year-old tradition of the European Christmas Market, and visitors can enjoy the food, shopping, entertainment and ambience of this open-air, holiday market.
Offerings include a majority of Michigan-made goods, including hand-crafted gifts, ornaments, fresh holiday greens, baked goods, specialty foods and much more.
Kids attending Kringle can visit with Santa Claus on both Friday and Saturday, 4:00-9:00 pm, sponsored by American House in Rochester Hills. There also will be kids’ craft activities and a gingerbread playhouse available throughout the weekend for photo opportunities, sponsored by Brookfield Academy & Something Fabulous.
Musical entertainment will be provided at various times throughout the event and sponsored by Dave & Buster’s in Utica.
Kringle will feature goods from Firebrick Gallery & Pottery Studio, Nitsches Meats & Deli, the Original Strudel Factory, Pewabic Pottery and more. Additionally, food and beverages will be served by Rochester Mills Beer Co. and Fieldstone Winery, including beer and hot spiced wine.
