Plans are well underway for the 2nd Annual Downtown Rochester Festival of Trees, November 20-22. The Downtown Rochester Festival of Trees is a holiday spectacular unlike any other, featuring trees, wreaths, stockings, tablescapes, and more designed and donated by the Metro Detroit community. According to the press release, new this year are centerpieces and gingerbread houses.
Currently businesses, organizations, individuals, and families are being sought to donate their time and talents to this year’s event. The Festival of Trees Inspirations Workshop is on Monday, August 17, 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Royal Park Hotel, 600 E. University. The workshop will include designer tips and tricks for decorating trees, as well as tablescape design ideas and a gingerbread house decorating demonstration.

The Downtown Rochester Festival of Trees will kick-off at the Rochester Community House on Friday, November 20 with the Cocktail Preview, and will be open to the public November 21 and 22. All proceeds benefit The Big, Bright Light Show.
