And what would a circus be without entertainment? Visit the Third Street Side Show daily between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm for kids’ crafts, entertainment and activities sponsored by Rochester Hills Spine Care. The Third Street Side Show will be located on W. Third Street, just east of Main and include puppets, clowns, magic and more! The Krafty Kids’ Zone, sponsored by Dr. Diana Wolf Abbott DDS, will be located outside of Mr. B’s Food & Spirits at 423 Main Street from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm each day. Paint Creek Center for the Arts will provide craft activities and there also will be face-painting.
Additionally, Tootsee the Clown will be at the corner of E. Fourth & Main on Friday, July 15, 12:00 – 2:00 pm to entertain the kids! Tootsee’s clowning around and balloon twisting is sponsored by Willoughby’s Beyond Juice.
The DDA Information Booth will be open throughout Sidewalk Sales, at the corner of W. Fourth and Main. New to the Sidewalk Sales is “Rudolph’s Rummage Sale,” a sale of gently used Holiday and Christmas décor to benefit The Big, Bright Light Show. Donations for “Rudolph’s Rummage Sale” currently are being accepted at the DDA office.�
Also, stop by the DDA Information Booth to purchase tickets to The Big, Bright Ball on July 31. Tickets are $30 each for adults, $10 for kids ages 5-12 and kids under five years of age are free. As usual, there will be plenty of free information on downtown Rochester as well.
On July 16, stick around post–Sidewalk Sales to enjoy a Movies in the Moonlight presentation of How to Train Your Dragon (Rated PG). Movies in the Moonlight begins at 8:30 pm at the corner of E. Third and Water St.
