Opening for its second season on Saturday, November 4, the market will conveniently take place indoors at the Rochester Fire Department. The Fire Department is located at 277 Second Street, directly across the street from the regular farmers’ market lot.
“The response we’ve received from the community, with starting the Winter Market last year was amazing,” said Taylor Clayton, Market Manager of the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market. “We are excited to once again be able to provide fresh and local food to the Rochester area, throughout these upcoming winter months.”
The market will be taking place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays November through January, with the exception of Fire & Ice Festival (January 20).
The Winter Farmers’ Market will feature a large variety of fresh produce and specialty foods, including gourmet coffee, hummus, gnocchi, jams and jellies, honey, dressings, sauces, and much more.
