Rochester College’s 43rd annual Partnership Dinner will feature Dr. Ben Carson, a gifted and innovative surgeon and popular motivational speaker, who will speak about America the Beautiful: Rediscovering What Made This Nation Great, on Saturday, April 12, at 5:30 p.m.
A presenter at the 2013 National Day of Prayer and popular media commentator, Carson is the author of five books: Gifted Hands, Think BIG, The Big Picture, Take the Risk and America the Beautiful: Rediscovering What Made this Nation Great. In June 2008, Carson was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is the highest civilian honor in the United States. He also was recognized by “U.S. News & World Report” and Harvard’s Center for Public Leadership as one of “America’s Best Leaders.”
Tickets and sponsorships for the Partnership Dinner may be purchased by visiting www.rc.edu/carson. Admission is $200 for adults, $175 for alumni, and $100 for students. The event will take place at the Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester at 600 E. University Drive, Rochester, MI 48307.
RC’s Partnership Dinner generates funding for student scholarships. A special reception for sponsors and the featured speaker is held in conjunction with the dinner. Past keynote speakers for the event include Scott Hamilton, Barbara Bush, Colin Powell, Mary Lou Retton, John Glenn, Robin Roberts and Dave Ramsey.
