Drop-in for the Holidays at the Rochester Hills Museum

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is open for drop-in hours on select dates this winter from 12 noon – 3:00 p.m., with a Guided Tour of the Van Hoosen Farmhouse at 1:00 p.m. They’ll have the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse beautifully decorated with boughs of holly, old Christmas cards, family gifts, community cookbooks, and a 10-foot Christmas tree in the library. Visitors will find seasonal interactive All Aboard: Model Railroad Exhibit! on display in the Calf Barn.

Remaining dates are December 11, 12, 19, 27, 28, 29, 30. The cost is $5 per adult, $3 for seniors and students, and free for museum members. No Registration Required.

Included with admission is a guided tour, access to exhibits, and a self-guided tour of the Bull Barn, Milk House, Equipment Barn, and Children’s Garden, as well as the nearby Stoney Creek Cemetery. Arrive early to take the Guided tour, as there is limited capacity.

The Rochester Hills Museum is located at 1005 Van Hoosen Road, off Tienken Road between Rochester and Dequindre Roads.
