Eagle Scout Candidate Completes Paint Creek Trail Project

Eagle Scout Candidate Mike Alspach, from Boy Scout Troop #101 in Rochester Hills, recently completed the Paint Creek Trail Brochure Box Project to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout. Mike raised funds through a can & bottle drive, and made 11 brochure boxes for the Paint Creek Trail. He designed the boxes to double the size of the previous boxes, protect brochures from the elements, all while maintaining the natural look and feel of the Paint Creek Trail. The Paint Creek Trailways Commission presented Mike with a certificate of appreciation, and honored him for his project on August 19, 2014.
