Eagle Scout Candidate Kyle Kutchek of Troop #186, recently completed his Recycle Bin Project for the Paint Creek Trail. Made out of recycled plastic, five bins have been installed along the 8.9 mile trail. The bins are appropriate for paper, plastic, and aluminum, and will be emptied by volunteers and the maintenance departments of the local communities.

Kyle is a senior at Lake Orion High school, and designed, fundraised, and built the Recycle Bins over the last year. “We are so pleased with Kyle’s project.  The bins are professional, and well-built.  Trail users started utilizing them immediately.  We are excited about these additions on the trail, and are happy to help keep recyclable items out of our landfills,” said Trail Manager Kristen Myers.
