To tryout for the group, students are required to submit a video-taped performance sung entirely without musical accompaniment and in their own “voice part” only. Judges listen to each voice part and select the top performers from hundreds of submissions. All of the students selected will participate in a day of rehearsals and performances for the Regional Honors Choir on December 3 at South Lyon High School. In addition, on that day, students will audition for the State Honors Choir which will perform in Grand Rapids in January, 2017.
