End of April Youth Programs at the Rochester Hills Public Library

Upcoming Youth Programs 

Residents of Rochester, Rochester Hills, and Oakland Township may be interested in these end of April youth events at the Rochester Hills Public Library. Register online with each child’s own library card. See the Schedule of Events on our website at rhpl.org or contact Youth Services at (248) 650-7140. All youth programs are graciously funded by the Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library. 

Fantastic Fridays

  • April 21, 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
  • Ages 1-5 with caregiver
  • Multipurpose Room

PLEASE REGISTER ALL CHILDREN AND ADULTS ATTENDING. Meet and learn about a baby goat. There may even be a chance to feed it!  The goat is coming from Bowers School Farm in Bloomfield. Please register for one time-slot only.

Wacky Science with Scheer Madness

  • Saturday, April 22, 2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
  • All Ages
  • Multipurpose Room

REGISTER ALL CHILDREN AND ADULTS ATTENDING.  Bring the whole family and be reading to be amazed at all of the “magic” you can do with science! This show is from the creative mind of Doug Scheer, one of our favorites.

Authors in April Signing – Meet the Authors

  • Wednesday, April 26, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • All Ages
  • Youth Room

Stop by to meet Mike Wohnoutka, Lenore Look, Cynthia Lord, and Neal Shusterman and get a book (or a few) signed.  There will be books available for sale at the event.

Earth Day & Arbor Day with The Lorax

  • Saturday, April 29, 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Ages 4-10 with caregiver
  • Multipurpose Room

PLEASE REGISTER ALL CHILDREN ATTENDING. Join us to celebrate these two environmental holidays with fun and games, plus (of course) reading Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax.
