Coyote – Our Urban Adapter

September 15, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Naturalist/Educator Laurel Zoet as she presents a program on basic coyote biology, myths and misunderstandings and how to avoid human/coyote conflict on Tuesday, September 15 at 7 p.m. at the Rochester Hills Public Library.

Native Americans told legends about the coyote and yet today this wild canine only seems to see bad press. How can one animal be feared by some and revered by others? Utilizing data collected in recent big city studies, this presentation will look at the history, the myths and the facts about one of North America’s most highly adaptable animals.

Registration is required and open to those with a Rochester Hills Public library card. To register go to the Events Calendar at www.RHPL.org or call 248-656-2900.

The Rochester Hills Public Library is located in downtown Rochester, two blocks east of Main Street off of University Drive on Olde Towne Road. For more information, call 248-650-7124.
