Early Childhood Caregiver Trainings

Do you feel overwhelmed parenting little ones? Are you bored? Running out of ideas for children’s activities? Have you hit a bad behavior cycle and can’t seem to get out of it? Are you a grandparent babysitting your grandkids? Then come to one of these trainings to learn more about your child. It is guaranteed to be eye opening and at the very least you can connect with other parents of little ones.
Library description of the class:
Join Margaret Sclesky of Oakland Family Services in the Multipurpose Room for monthly training sessions on early childhood development and early literacy skills. All attendees will receive certificates of participation; hours can be counted towards yearly training requirements. Please register all adults attending; registration begins Thursday, November 6. January 15, 2015 6 p.m.: Fingerplays, Songs & Rhymes

Residents of Rochester, Rochester Hills, and Oakland Township, don’t miss these exciting events at Rochester Hills Public Library. Each child who registers for library programs must have his or her own library card and be a resident of Rochester, Rochester Hills, or Oakland Township. Registration is online.
