Michigan One-Room Schoolhouse Association Conference

The Rochester Hills Museum is proud to be hosting the annual Michigan One Room Schoolhouse Association Conference on Saturday, May 16, which coordinates ongoing surveying and inventory of existing one-room schools in Michigan.

Admission to the conference is $30 and includes lunch. Guests can sign up for the conference by visiting www.one-roomschool.org/conference.html.

The Rochester Hills Museum will be hosting the conference in their 1848 Stoney Creek Schoolhouse. Guests will learn how to research and restore one-room school buildings, engage local school groups, and how to work with donors, volunteers, and organizations in historical preservation.

The Museum is located at 1005 Van Hoosen Road, off Tienken Road between Rochester and Dequindre Roads.
