Experience the European Essence of the Kris Kringle Market in Downtown Rochester

The 7th annual Kris Kringle Market returns to Downtown Rochester this holiday season, Friday, December 5, 4-10 p.m. and Saturday, December 6, Noon-10 p.m. The market will be located on W. The Kris Kringle Market, presented by Lincoln of Troy and C & G Newspapers, is inspired by the 700 year-old tradition of the European Christmas markets. Visitors can enjoy the food, shopping, entertainment and ambience of an open-air holiday market.The press release stated that offerings include handcrafted gifts, ornaments, fresh holiday greens, baked goods, specialty foods and much more.

Children can enjoy a visit and photo opportunity with Santa Claus, a free kid’s craft activity and a chance to play in kid-sized gingerbread houses donated and built by Bloomingdale Construction.

Food and beverage will be available in the warming tent. Purchase your commemorative glass mug filled with Gluhwein or enjoy a glass of handcrafted beer from the Rochester Mills Beer Co.

Products range from Michigan themed apparel and handcrafted jewelry to Dresden stollen and handmade sugar cookies. Vendors will include Bavarian Roasted Almonds Co., Nitsches Meats & Deli, The Original Strudel Factory, Iconic Detroit and so much more! KringleMarket2013_P3A5807
