Famous Duos Theme for this Year’s Live Mannequin Rochester Posed

Watch the windows in Downtown Rochester as dynamic duos come to life. Downtown Rochester’s ninth annual Rochester Posed event is scheduled for Thursday, October 7 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Participating Downtown Rochester businesses will turn their storefront windows into live mannequin displays. This year’s theme for Rochester Posed is Famous Duos, including timeless favorites such as Barbie & Ken, Thelma & Louise, and more.

“This is a must-see event that appeals to people of all ages,” said Jenna O’Dell, Events Coordinator of the Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA). “The participating businesses put a lot of time and creative effort into making their windows come alive.”

Enjoy a night of strolling, shopping, dining & live mannequins. Over fifteen businesses will participate in Rochester Posed. Each business will depict a different famous duo using live mannequins in their storefront windows. Live mannequins will be revealed at 7:00 p.m. and will remain posed until 9:00 p.m.

The public will vote for their favorite live mannequin display. Text-to-vote will be available from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Specific details will be listed at each of the participating locations, as well as the event map. The Rochester DDA will announce top the three winning windows on Friday, October 8. The winning business will receive a Rochester Posed trophy. Each window will remain a “surprise” until the unveiling on October 7.
