Enjoy a one-of-a-kind, al fresco dining experience celebrating the farm-fresh flavors of summer with Downtown Rochester’s Farm-to-Table Dinner event. Taking place on Sunday, July 22, 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Walnut Boulevard between Second and Third, tickets are $100 per person and include a three-course dinner, wine, beer and entertainment. Proceeds benefit downtown events and promotions in Downtown Rochester.
This year’s menu is another showstopper, featuring Sauteed Rock Shrimp & Lobster Cakes, Tournedos of Beef Tenderloin with Chimmichuri, Lightly Smoked Oven Steamed Salmon with Charred Lemon Hollandaise, Tomato Pie and Peach Cobbler with Vanilla, Honey and Sweet Dumplings just to name a few, all served family style plus assorted Michigan wines and craft beers.
“I can’t tell you how excited we are at The Meeting House to be a part of the Farm-to-Table Dinner Series, it’s really what we base our menus on every day,” stated Chris Johnson, owner and Executive Chef of The Meeting House. “I’m happy to bring attention to our awesome downtown and to the farmers that are the lifeblood of our restaurants. And when else can you close down a road to serve dinner for 100 people? I can’t wait.”
