The Neighborhood House Fashion Show Raised over $12,000 for Neighbors in Need
Neighborhood House hosted their 2nd Fashion Show in May. The event promoted the services Neighborhood House provides, while showcasing clothing from the Neighborhood House Clothes Closet and Sole Sisters. Each model talked about their role in Neighborhood House or how Neighborhood House impacted them. The evening included a delicious sit down dinner provided by The Meeting House, beauty vendors, and of course, the modeling of current trends.
Attendee Becky Stage said, “This is such a fun event for a girl’s night out. I loved hearing about the upcoming trends and how Neighborhood House has directly impacted lives.” The Neighborhood House Executive Youth board and youth volunteers helped plate and serve food alongside the owners of The Meeting House.
For the second year, Neighborhood House is thrilled to have sold out tickets within weeks of being released. The Neighborhood House had a goal of raising 10,000 from this event. With the help of generous donations during the event, they surpassed this goal and raised over $12,000. Jane Ritchie, Fashion Show event planner, said, “We were overwhelmed with how many donations we received during the Fashion Show.”
