Festival of the Hills Fireworks Summer Tradition Returns on August 11

Celebrating America and our Independence continues on Wednesday, August 11. With the State of Michigan now allowing the return to full capacity for all events, the City of Rochester Hills has announced that the Festival of the Hills fireworks show will be back and is now scheduled for August this year.

“The Festival of the Hills has been a summer tradition for the region,” states Mayor Bryan K. Barnett. “After taking a hiatus last year, we’re excited to welcome our neighbors back to Borden Park to enjoy a night of food, family fun, and of course fireworks!”

DJ Joey Radio will be playing music starting at 6:00 p.m. Families will be able to enjoy activities such as the petting zoo and inflatables, as well as a variety of delicious food options. Due to the earlier sunset time, the fireworks show will begin earlier than in past years, at 9:36 p.m.

Earl E. Borden Park is located at 1400 E Hamlin Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Residents can view a map of the park, along with traffic routes, and available parking options at the Event Page on the city’s website.

For more information, call the Festival Hotline at 248-841-BOOM.
